Great Canadian Entertainment Corporation has announced the grand opening of the flagship Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto for Tuesday, June 20th at 5pm. The highly anticipated Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto is set to open next Tuesday on 33 acres of land, with an estimated cost of $1 billion. This Vegas-style resort will feature a 400-room hotel, 5,000-seat live entertainment venue, 4800 slot machines and 145 table games spread out within 328,000 square feet of space. This project has been under construction for several years, and CEO of Great Canadian Entertainment, Matthew Anfinson, has stated that this venture will provide an “unprecedented opportunity to introduce an entirely new, world-class experience in Canada that will bring together the best in casino gaming, exceptional live entertainment, dining, and accommodation in one very special place.” Once it is in full operation, this facility is predicted to bring in over half a billion dollars to the local economy.
