Two young men wanted on first-degree murder of CPS Officer have surrendered to police
Calgary, AB Two young men wanted on warrants for first-degree murder have turned themselves into the Calgary police in connection to the “senseless” death of a CPS officer who was dragged by a vehicle fleeing a traffic stop on New Year’s Eve.
1st-degree murder warrants have been issued for two people following the death of a Calgary Police Service officer. Al-Azan Shah MUHAMMAD, 17, and Amir ABDULRAHMAN, 19, both of Calgary, are sought in connection with the incident.
Sgt. Andrew Harnett, 37, stopped a vehicle in the northeast community of Falconridge at about 10:50 p.m. when the driver sped off, striking him.
